Quisp Cereal

by Sherry Deatrick » Fri Jul 10, 2009 1:00 am

Not sure where in the forum to put this post -- since it's not about a restaurant but about a grocery item from my childhood.

Quisp can be found at Fresh Market on Shelbyville Rd. Get it while it's here! No high fructose corn syrup sweetener -- real sugar! And such a cute mascot. I love that li'l guy.

Sadly, no Quake or Quangaroo.

That is awesome news. That used to be one of my favorite cereals growing up. Time for a nostalgia trip.

Good gracious,

How old is that? Oops, did I just call everyone old? Well, I didn't mean that...

The food gods smile on us once again. I used to devour Quisp as a child. I think I even got one of those mail away offers for a T-shirt or something.

We are headed there first thing in the morning, if there is any left!

I am glad I posted this -- the more people who descend on the store and buy it, the more likely they are to reorder. FYI - the cereal is located at the back of the store on an end cap, near the butter. They're also having a great sale on weird drinks like Lemongrass soda, Lavender soda -- $1.50 for a 4-pack. Some Bitter Lemon also is on sale, great for those summer gin 'n' tonics.

And no, I have no affiliation with this store, except that I love it.
