Harper, Davis earn Master Sommelier

by Robin Garr » Wed Jul 08, 2009 5:24 pm

I've just heard that local wine experts (and forum participants) Scott Harper and Brett Davis have earned Master Sommelier status, a truly coveted designation that requires massive knowledge of wine and its service. Congratulations to them both!

Yes, congratulations! I know lots of hard work must have gone into your certification. Good job!

a very well deserved congratulations to both Mr. Harper & Mr. Davis.
watching all the work that both of you have put into this for the last several years has been inspiring and humbling.
this is truly an amazing achievement.

Louisville should be very proud of you both. Not many cities can boast that they have one, let alone two Master Sommeliers.

To put this accomplishment in a bit of context, there were 45 candidates that took the exam from across the nation last week in Cincinnati. Scott and Brett were the ONLY two that passed the exam. Even though I find them both to be insufferable to be around  , I am in awe of their achievement!
