Holiday Manor gets upscale Italian

by Heather Y » Tue Jul 07, 2009 2:00 pm

Not sure if this has been broadcast or not, but I was so excited when I heard this.

A member of the Melillo family is in the planning stages of opening "Sylvios", an upscale Italian restaurant in the Holiday Manor shopping center. It will be housed in the former Genesis spa space.

Features are just hearsay to me, but sound really lovely.

Yay! Can't wait!
Good luck to all!

This is the space that Shariot was going to use I think and I assume that fell through. This is great news because we need good Italian food and it's my neighborhood. If we could get an Indian restaurant wedged into Holiday Manor I'll never have to leave a 3 to 4 square block area.

We were over at Shiraz over the weekend and there's a sa-weet space for a cake shop available. ::lust:: I looked up the rent on some other available spaces, though.

There is a Feeders Supply sign in the window now. I would have preferred a restaurant.

I will say that i have also heard that Silvio's is looking to go near Holiday Manor, just never that spot. I have been told things should still be a go.....not trying to step out to far here.

Heather,

We're going to take away your license to spread rumors if you keep this up. First the Liquor Barn and now this. WhatEVER are we going to do with you.

I know!
This was first Steve, and it has already been revoked!

Just for the record though, it was told to myself, and others privately by the potential restaurateur that they were indeed looking at space in Holiday Manor.
