Bastille Day dinner @ Bank Street Brewhouse.

by Roger A. Baylor » Wed Jul 01, 2009 10:03 pm

Thanks to Robin for permission to post.

We'll be offering a special Bastille Day menu with a selection of Bieres de Garde at the Bank Street Brewhouse on Tuesday, July 14. Chef Josh will be preparing a 5-course meal, and each meal comes with your choice of a 750ml Biere de Garde (5 types from France, and Schlafly's fine craft example) to pair with the food. The hope is that people will choose different bottles and share at the table.

The Menu:

First Course:
Gougeres

Second Course (choose 1):
Poached Egg Salad
Vichyssoise
Country-style pâté

Third Course (choose 1):
Cassoulet
Bouillabaisse
Quiche Lorraine

Fourth Course:
Fromages (assorted)

Fifth Course (choose 1):
Chocolate Mousse
Creme Brulee

Thanks again.

As a final note, I've added bottles of La Choulette's "Les Sans Culottes" to the list for the 14th.

Space remains, and I have Johnny Hallyday DVDs to air during dinner ... it's all about atmosphere.

Chef Josh just informed me there are a few seats left for tonight. Call Nasty @812.725.9585 for reservations.

The place smells awesome!

(but it always does 8) )
