Baxter Ave J. Gumbos - Going...

I was visiting the condo I have listed around the corner from J. Gumbos on Baxter Ave last week, and noticed a sign that they were losing their lease and closing shop. I didn't stop in to ask if they were moving or if they store was just being closed. I'm curious to hear what is going to take over that space. When that building was being built the developer had said that a diner was going to go in there. I haven't made it into Bunz yet, but a place that served a menu similar to Barbara Lee's or Denny's seems like it would do well.

Yes, we have closed the Baxter Ave location as our lease had run out. From what I have heard there is some kind of tapas bar or some such going in there. Best of luck to them.
