Besides the ones that have been mentioned and the obvious chain options: Barbara Lee's, Cafe 360, Juanita's Burger Boy (if you're brave), Bristol (Highlands location), 732 Social, Asiatique (Thurs thru Sat), Jimmy John's.

Cafe 360, next door to my shop (Ray's), is open 24/7....I often see them quite packed at 2-3 am.....corner of Bardstown and Bonnycastle

I don't hold their food in high regard, but it'll do in a pinch.

Yes, we know about 360. We used to go there alot when they first opened. Unfortunately, the food, that was mediocre at best, has taken a HUGE down slide. The only thing I'll eat there any more (and we haven't been in months) is the hummus with the stale pita chips.

We just tend to get to Louisville LATE on the Fridays and Saturdays that Rick works and I have no kids. We usually end up going to the movies but are starving either before or afterwards, so that means around 11pm or later.

If anyone else has ideas, let me know please. We ended up at Denny's last night and I'm still dying of indigestion.

Fox & Hound goes to 2am seven days/week - if you'll hit Denny's, this is a LOT better! As mentioned, Ramsi's and (original Bardstown) Bristol go quite late also.

Friday and Saturday late ... Twig & Leaf. Better than most. Also interesting as to the customers.

I got a pretty good Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and some french fries at the Cumberland Brews place on Thursday night. Originally we were going to hit Cafe 360 because I knew they would be open, but when we got there the place was pretty crowded and I didn't realize that they were letting people smoke the hookah things downstairs now. Last time I was there (many, many moons ago) they were only doing that upstairs. The exhale smoke from those things was bothering me so we left.

It's a bar, but Cahoots has one of the best bar menus on Bardstown Road. They serve pretty late if you can handle the bar crowd.

I second Cahoots. I think they have one of the top 3 fish sandwichews in the city as well. And the crowd really isn't that heavy until the weekends.

I'm fond of La Bamba on Bardstown, "open late to accomodate", as the sign says. Then again, that late, I tend to go for greasy comfort food -- Waffle House, Jerry's, that sort of thing.

This is where I sniffle a little bit about Karma Cafe's closing. Sniffle.

The Back Door Lounge in Mid City Mall is pretty good bar food. The blackened chicken club stands out.

I recently noticed that Qdoba on the corner of Bardstown Road and Eastern Pkwy is now open all night on weekends.
