Whole Foods has good fish as well. Frankly they often have a better selection too.

Highland Fish in Middletown has a good selection, and like Seafood Connection, it's local.

I confess: I go to Whole Foods sometimes, and spend some grocery money there. But when it comes to fish, meat, produce and other products I can buy from locally owned firms, I'll put my money at the local companies if I can.

I buy more fish at Seafood Connection than Whole Foods but sometimes need a change of pace. Middletown is too far to travel given my limited shopping time. We need a fish monger in the Brownsboro/Prospect area!

There was one on 42 next to Party Mart as I remember. And there was another Seafood Connection at Springhurst by me- which is also gone. Another reminder if we want these local resources, we need to support them. I felt really bad when that Seafood Connection closed- it was 1 mile away, but I very rarely went there- I rarely have time to hit multiple places.

I agree with Annemarie on the Seafood Connection and Highlands as my fav current sources.
