Dinner Is Done moving to Middletown

Dinner Is Done - Moving July 2009 - New location 12001 Shelbyville Road, Middletown Ky 40243.

We are taking the location that Moe's Southwest grill had.

Visit our new location in the 2nd week of July 2009. Same great food. Same great service. Dine in carry, out catering and a private room available.

I hate to see Dinner is Done is moving. Close to us and one of our favorite stops for takeout. Steam table service. Good fried chicken, GREAT chicken livers, meatloaf, fine onion rings. Nice looking desserts, cobblers, pies, etc. Inexpensive.

J-towns loss is Middletowns gain. I encourage anyone in the Middletown area to try this place.

I hope she makes it, but Moe's and Mazzonis next door didn't. A horrible location for visibility and getting in and out. Moving far enough away to leave a large portion of her customer base.

Best of luck Catrina .. a fine lady.

Moes didn't close, they moved but not because of the location, it was because of the landlord. The gym next to them had the same issue.
Mazzonis lost a lot of their older customers which was probably 90% of their business, because they moved from the old location. There are still a lot of older folks who are hopelessly lost in Middletown looking for them and their oysters. They end up in various businesses asking for directions.....
If Dinner is Done does good at advertising the new location they should do well, assuming they get along w/ the landlord. The ladies in Middletown and surrounding areas, don't cook much and love good takeout, the only real competion would be the Cheddar Box Cafe a couple of blocks away.
FYI... this is Michele posting not Bob

I'm not really sure the landlord was the problem with the gym. The one in Middletown moved three times within a year and the one they opened in Shelbyville stayed open less than three months! Moe's biggest problem was they counted on business from the gym so once it closed their business dropped immensely.

Mazzonis also never regained the levels of quality and service they used to have. They suffered greatly after moving and never seemed to get things together.

On the other hand Pig City Barbeque seems to be doing quite well in that plaza so I really don't think the location of the problem.

There is a chinese restaurant going in next to Pig City and a mexican place "coming soon" into the Mazzoni's location. Unless it is changing names, it isnt the rumored Sergio's move.
