I love La Rosita and will be delighted if one comes to Westport Road - I'd drive out from Crescent Hill for that! Don't forget, though, if it's authentic lengua tacos you want, you can find them in that same general part of the East End at My Patria on Lyndon Lane between LaGrange Road and the railroad tracks.

I have been talking up My Patria for months now. It just doesn't seem to get the credit other authentic mexican places are getting. My food has always been great and the people are wonderful. It is located in the back of a grocery store so you can shop for all your Mexican food needs while you wait on your food.

By my calculations, Israel Landin should just now be returning to NA after 15 weeks in Mexico, where he was taking classes at the national culinary school. It seems unlikely, although not out of the question, that a new location would open while he was away.
I'd say the odds of there being a connection are fairly long, but I could be wrong.
