Anyone know where to get whitefish salad?

I am having a serious craving for it and would like to know if any deli type places around here might have it.

Don't know about restaurants, bur Costco has the Acme Smoked Fish Co. whitefish salad. Right out of Brooklyn, NY USA.

I agree with Jon, it is some tasty stuff.

I too love whitefish salad. I scoured the city - and the only two places are Costco and Whole Foods (which every once in a blue moon has some at the deli counter). Best bet is Costco option - and it is quite tasty. I'm not a Costco kind of girl, but one of my cousin's who knows of my love of whitefish gave me a container a while back. It is a huge amount of whitefish, but I found It freezes well....

You might try calling the International Market out on Taylorsville Rd. I know they have an extensive array of smoked fish- not sure about the deli salads.

Try Shuckman's Fish Company & Smokery. They have a whitefish spread that is great. They are at 30th and Main, and I think Whole Foods also carries it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try Shuckmans before I trek out to Costco. I tried the Whole Foods one and it was average. The International Grocery on Taylorsville is also a great suggestion. I remember getting some good caviar there.
