The Trustees House at Shakertown at Pleasant Hill. I don't believe there's any competition.

This spot has gone downhill a bit for food quality and value in recent years, but it's still such a beautiful, peaceful place that I love it anyway.

My parents would take us there when I was but a mere lad. I still have fond memories of Shakertown. I loved the peach dessert. I need to go back.

Not as good as the real thing, but Blue Bell ice cream has a "lemon icebox pie" flavor that is delicious. It reminds me of Cracker Barrel's lemon icebox pies. Very tasty and good for summer.
