This Coming Fund Day at Flanagan's, O'Shea's, and Brendan's

by Brad Keeton » Thu Jun 04, 2009 10:29 am

Thanks to Robin for permission to post this.

For this coming Monday's (June 8th) "Fund Day" at Flanagan's, O'Shea's, and Brendan's, 100% of proceeds are being donated to help Cheryl Glassner with her mounting medical bills as a result of 2 forms of rare, terminal cancer. Cheryl is the cousin of a good friend of mine and someone who has devoted her life to helping others. If you can, please stop in, even if it's just for a beer. More details below:

June 8 th - Cheryl Glassner:

A Cancer Patient diagnosed with 2 forms of rare terminal cancer, Cheryl has spent her life helping others in third world countries. She is an amazing woman besieged with medical bills--all proceeds will be donated towards that cause.

Mondays are FUND Days. Just Eat or Enjoy a Pint! (No other Solicitation)
100% of proceeds from Monday FUND Days from O'Shea's, Flanagan's, and Brendan's will go to our fellow community members with a cause or need.

I've never been overwhelmed by the service at any these places (Flanny's is the best by far), but it is hard to argue with a local business that returns significant money back to the community. I especially like how the owners seem to be willing to support a wide variety of causes, not merely "pet" causes.

I'll second that.
They have always been very generous with their help for the House of Ruth.
