Had the chance to attend the showing of work of Dan Dry World renowned photographer at the Butchertown market tonight. After took a short hop across the river to New Albany, and the New Albanian brew house, or also known as Bank street brew house.

We each had a beer ( Elector, and the Jenever), and one Halibut special (brussels sprouts, green apple, and micro greens with a lemon veloute), and the other was a "small plate" of scallops with green peas, carrot puree, and bacon. I had to be stopped from licking the plates.
Halibut was $20.00 and the scallops was $12, the hubs thought it was over priced but well cooked, and delicious. I understand that the kitchen crew and bartender were snatched up from Le Relais, and If you ask me Le Relais loss is NABH gain. They said they would love to have more Louisvillians come across to give them a try, but please make sure you leave me a seat! Loved it.

Glad you enjoyed it, and don't hesitate to bring more Louisvillians with you.

Just a bump to my comments from a few weeks ago--it got lost in the shuffle I think, but our experience at BSB was a very good one.

Roger, you were out of the country when we were there.

Indeed, I was, and I've now gone back and looked at it. Thanks, and I'm glad everything was good. Next up other than finishing the brewery installation is constructing the outdoor seating area.

It's actually a drive-in cooler from the brewery side. Jesse and I got a nice tan while installing the roof panels.

As someone in the beverage business, I too was jealous of the walk in cooler. I commiserated with Jessie on Friday at what fun it is to man-handle all those pieces into place. We went through a similar process last year while finishing up our new building. While I did not have the height issues that they did, we had a lot more pieces to put up. Next time I leave that to the professionals.
