The Wine Rack is moving (but not far)

This just in from Proprietor John Johnson ... the move is about two blocks west from its current location next door to Heine Brothers Coffee.

THE WINE RACK IS MOVING!!!!!!

If all goes as planned, we will be leaving our home of the last 6 years at 2716 Frankfort Ave., Louisville, KY, 40206 on May 31, 2009. Fear not, valued customers, we are not moving far!! Just down the street to 2632 Frankfort Ave. We should be up and running at the new locale by Wednesday. June 3.

Come by see the original 2716 store while you can! But don't worry, we are not changing too much, just a little bigger & a little better. Oh, and did I mention the Courtyard?

Cheers!

I spoke to John last night and he said the new location will have a courtyard that will hold outdoor tastings.

Yep, that's why the original post said ...

Apparently he had to go through some regulatory hoops to get approval for outdoor tastings, which is fairly stupid, but he said that's all taken care of.

All of the alcohol laws sound like a pain to me. I ask John if he was able to serve wine in the courtyard and he answered no, but he will be doing tastings.

What is the difference between serving and tasting?

I would like to taste about 4 oz of 4 different wines.
