Maido Super Happy Hour?

Does anyone know if these items are also available for take-out, or if it's dine-in only? The menu doesn't say. I tried to call, but they're not open yet, and no answer. TIA.

I'm not an authority on this but I would expect that these items are dine-in only. My expectation is that they want you to eat in and enjoy some adult beverages with your low-priced menu items. Judging by past experience at Maido I'd expect an icy response to such a query.

You're probably right about the dine-in only option, Dan. My husband has to work too late to make it to the Mon.-Thurs. option, but I'm thinking we'll do the Friday Happy Hour tomorrow, since he'll be off a little earlier. Not quite as good of a deal, but still some great prices.

I'm surprised to here you mention an icy response from them, though. We've always had great service, and very pleasant demeanor from the servers and the owners.

I really, really enjoy their restaurant. I think their food is fantastic and find their prices very reasonable. The service is always cordial albeit slow. I have found the owner to be a bit icy. I've been there when they are busy and when they were dead and in both situations I have tried to initiate conversation only to feel like a bother. Ultimately I'm there for the food so I just do not continue to make the attempts.

Went here for dinner tonight w/ my family. Everything was delicious and a great value. Five of us enjoyed a meal for $38.00..we ordered mostly off the Happy Hour Menu. We saved room for dessert and walked over to Sweet Surrender and had fantastic double chocolate cake and Italian Cream cake.
