Vote to send a local wine guy to CA!

by Paul W » Wed May 27, 2009 11:28 pm

Hi all,

First of all, I checked with Robin, and he said it was kosh for me to post this.

The girlfriend and I are trying to get "a really goode job!" Yes the spelling is correct. The job is at Murphy Goode Winery in Sonoma County, CA as their new "wine lifestyle correspondent." More information here: http://www.areallygoodejob.com Basically they are hiring a person (or persons in our case) to move out to Sonoma County for six months and blog about the experience. Stephanie and I are well suited for this...she's a long time blogger & I'm a long time Louisville wine retailer. To apply for the position you've got to submit a minute long video, and the people vote for their favorite! That's where you come in. As far as I know we're Louisville's only applicants...and WE NEED YOUR VOTE! It's easy, just go here and cast your vote: http://tinyurl.com/vote4paul

Vote, confirm, share!

And please tell your friends! Right now we're #11 out of 150+ applicants, but there are new ones being added every day.

Thanks!

Paul

You have my vote-- have you put this on facebook? I would be happy to put it out to my "friends".
Good Luck, sounds like a fun 6 months. :D

Done. Good luck to both of you.

I read about this somewhere recently, and though about doing it myself even though my wine knowledge is extremely limited and I doubt my employer would give me a 6 month sabbatical for this. Heh. It just looks like a great experience. I hope you all get it.
