Memorial Day restaurant openings?

Are any of the independent restaurants open on Memorial Day at breakfast or lunch? We like to take our son and daughter-in-law out for breakfast or lunch that day....

There was a post the other day from North End Cafe saying they were going to be open Monday from 8:00 to 3:00 for brunch and lunch. They are normally close on Monday but are opening for the holiday.

Cafe Lou Lou is open for lunch and dinner at both locations, beginning at 11 AM on Memorial Day!

Both Impellizzeri's will be open at 4pm.

Bazo's will be open for Memorial day from 11.00 am until 3.00 pm. We may stay open until 9.00pm if we can justify the sales.

We went by the St. Matthew's location at 11:30 and it was closed

Ended up at Macca's...we had a 3 year old with us who was hungry!

Missed my Hummus though....

Wow, Shannon - I don't know what to say! Just to make sure, I called St. Matthews again just now (I know they were open at lunchtime at the Highlands store, because I was there!). They said they were indeed open for lunch at 11:00 AM (but somewhat lightly attended). Clay just called me and confirmed it - we were open at both locations!

I don't know what could have happened, but we were open!

Well, we didn't get out of the car....but there were no other cars and no lights on, that we could see.

I should have just taken the extra 30 seconds.

I promised the 3 year old a trip this week!

Well - sorry we missed you. I know parents probably think twice about wrangling the little ones in and out of the car if they don't have to, so I understand.

Seems like people come to lunch later in the day on weekends (the rush gets started around 1:00 instead of 11 or 11:30, so you were probably amongst the first there, customer-wise).
