Please sign-up for the Throwdown

by Deb Hall » Thu May 14, 2009 5:33 pm

Folks,
If you haven't done so so far, please sign-up for the Chicken & Dumplings Throwdown this coming Tuesday. It's only a couple of days away, but very few people have signed up to-date. Our chefs ( and Bret) are going need an idea of how many to expect to feed.

Should be a great time!

It is Tuesday. I've gently edited Deb's typo. 8)

Hmm, a question that hadn't occurred. We held the price low - $10 - to make it accessible to everyone, and remember, the fee isn't really for the food but to raise a little money for the food-related charity.

That said, I don't think we'd charge for very small children, and maybe we ought to offer a rate for families with several kids.

I don't know ... suggestions, folks? What would be fair? Again, remember that the $10 is a charitable donation, not paying for food.

Please don't worry about it. I don't think we're going to make it anyway...

Tuesday evenings are my late work night, so I will be unable to attend. Very sad face.

It's not too late, Tom! C'mon down! Same goes for everyone: No reservations needed, just show up and bring your $10 (100 percent of which goes to The Food Literacy Project) to pay at the door.
