Today's Woman has an article about Eleanor Griffin, who was named the editor-in-chief of Southern Living last year. (Sorry if this is old news.)
She is from Louisville. Went to IU (and Waggener:-). She credits the late Kate Kirwan at Waggener for her interest. (I think Kate may have been a Seneca grad and/or teacher there.)
Anyway, she sounds like she wants to feature the region alot (Midway restaurant this month). She said that she has already mentioned Kathy Cary and the Red River Gorge. (Probably not in the same article.)
I didn't realize that there are 17 different editions each month and every state has its own edition - 17 editions? 50 states? My daughters love the magazine and the food.
