UL meal plan

UL has revised their mandatory mealplan. Still a requirement though.
The food service company Sodexco, is the same company that provides the food at the zoo. As a zoo member, I have the opportunity to save 25% at most food concession locations within the zoo. A nice zoo perk - especially for families. But I would rather give that up and see the same company out of the UL meal business.

SODEXO, founded in 1966 by Pierre Bellon, a world leader in Food and Facilities Management services, with more than 355,000 employees on 30,600 sites in 80 countries, as of August 31, 2008. For Fiscal 2008, which closed August 31, 2008, SODEXO had revenues of 13.6 billion euro. Listed on Euronext Paris, the Group has a current market capitalization of 5,5 billion euro.

They do (or at least used to) the same service at Berea College and operated the old Boone Tavern. I always thought if Boone Tavern was privately owned the restaurant would fare better. Every time we've been it was so mediocre. And that's a shame because the hotel is such a beauty.
