Latest Issue of "Food & Dining" is here

by David Lange » Tue Apr 28, 2009 8:28 am

With Robin's permission, I'd like to announce the release of the spring/summer issue of "Food & Dining magazine. Along with Dan Dry's phenominal photography, these are some tidbits that can be found in this issue:

* Sara Fritschner's article on potstickers and a review of Asian markets in the area.

* Locations and hours of Louisville's farmers markets and a chart of when fruits and vegetables will be available.

* Profiles on Z's Fusion, 211 Clover Lane, Simply Thai, and Wagner's Pharmacy

* Easy Entertaining Kentucky Style by Tim ([Chief Entertainment Officer) & Lori Laird.

* Recipes for Chicken Salad from the Cheddar Box and cooking with tomatillos from Sullivan University.

* Plus an article from Jerry Slater on Old Town Wine & Spirits, from Roger Baylor on finding good beer in supermarkets, from yours truly on coffee cocktails and from our new wine enthusiast, Scott Harper on 6 wines under $6.

Theres a lot of good reading, coupled with great pictures for all local foodies. There's so much in this issue, that I can't put it in one post. Just enjoy.

Thanks again Robin for allowing this post.

We just started carrying these at the store with this issue. I had the hardest time finding the last issue, and thought that having it at our store is the easiest way to make sure I get a copy.

Next time, David, ask first, please, rather than assuming permission. (This advice is given to the choir: Commercial posts require PRIOR permission, to avoid the appearance of spam.)

Robin, please accept my sincerest appologies for the "faux pas". I didn't realize there was a formal procedure for announcements like this. I thought that the forum would like to know that this popular vehicle was now available. And by their comments, it seems that they are glad to know. Once again, sorry to offend, and next time I'll meander through the proper channels
