Kathy, they went in the mail as soon as they came back from the publisher, which was just at the start of Derby Week. Unfortunately, the US Postal Service does a horrible job with magazines, so they can take anywhere from a day or two to a couple of weeks to get to subscribers. If you don't get yours within the next week, let me know, and I'll ask the folks who do the mailing to track it down for you.

USPS does an amazing job with First Class mail, though. I am stunned whenever I see rates and estimated delivery times in many other countries.

As a contributor (great piece on Kentucky Inns!) you certainly are entitled to one. A copy (or several) may be in the mail, but shoot me an E-mail and we'll work something out for sure.

They are given away for free in almost all Louisville hotel rooms. You may try askign the concierge desk at one of the downtown hotels.
You can also buy the single issues at most major local book stores.

Here you go, Holly:

Food & Dining: Where to Find Us

Frankly, the smaller local businesses - Lotsa Pasta, Burger's, Carmichael's, etc. - are your best shot, because the big outfits (Kroger's, Border's) can't always be counted on to make them easy to find.

Great, thanks!

I knew about the hotels carrying it; when I first came here to look for an apartment we got a copy in our hotel room, and while I'm not above sneaking one from the Holiday Inn across Broadway from me, sometimes I think it's time to act like an upstanding citizen :)
