Does anyone know which restaurants are doing boxed lunches for Derby this year?

Does anyone know the specifics of what is acceptable as a box lunch to take into the Downs and what is not?

Studio's Grille & Pub in New Albany can do box lunches. Tell us what you would like and we will figure the costs (always reasonable) and expedite your orders.

We've been toying with the idea of doing some vegetarian boxed lunches for Derby at Sweet Surrender. We have offered a dessert box in years past but thought it might be fun to offer something different. That is, if people are actually interested in vegetarian boxed lunches... If so let me know, and I'll post more info.

Both Stevens & Stevens Deli and Lilly's do a killer box lunch. Love them both equally.

They're allowing coolers this year.

Just an FYI - you CAN bring coolers, but only through certain entrances. So, if you're not planning on packing much in your cooler, you may want to reconsider. Otherwise, you may be standing in line for a long time, even for a very tiny cooler. Who knows though: the cooler lines may also move very swiftly.
