Warehouse Wine Sale

by Rick G » Fri Apr 10, 2009 5:07 pm

This one I can't wait for!! Some friends and I have been to the last 2 "Warehouse Wine Sales" at Party Mart and have been amazed at the deals. Well they're at it again. I ran into the owner, Jerry Rogers, Thursday as he was receiving 3 truckloads of wine for the next event. Looks like a monster! He showed me a pallet of Penfolds half bottles that he said he normally sells for $5.99 a bottle. He said he's only going to sell it by the case (24 Bottles) for only $36! That's only $1.50 per bottle! Their warehouse was absolutely packed with stuff for this sale. It is Sunday April 19 (day after Thunder) from 1 pm on. If you are a wine lover, you don't want to miss it. Well their goes what little tax return I just received!!!!!!

The first one was definitely a worthwhile use of time, although if you're a bit on the claustrophobic side the crowds could overwhelm you. I'll see you all there on Sunday.

He took me in the backroom and it was packed
There's plenty to choose from

Jerry was talking about the sale with several students in his wine appreciation class. They were so thrilled with their purchases and said that they couldn't wait for him to do it again!
We hope to get by and pick up some deals!
