Seems odd to post a new restaurant announcement on Craigslist but not HotBytes, though ... somebody want to invite them over here?

Yes, even more odd is that it posted in the section that usually lists businesses/business equipment for sale. I was just browsing and saw it there.

Meh . . . some people still don't know much about computers. Omar at the Pakistani restaurant couldn't figure out where all these customers were coming from. We tried to explain this Board and he just said he didn't understand anything about computers, but was happy that people were saying nice things about his place and thanked us for coming in.

But then, there was a CL posting.

I'm not sure if it's the same, but Dee Criollo, Executive Chef at Lake Forest C. C. was working on opening a Venezuelan restaurant over the last several months. I will pop him off an e-mail, see if it is, and invite him to join the LHB group.

OK, confirmed. This is Dee Criolo's new place. I have invited him to join LHB, so hopefully we'll see him on the forums soon. He is going to be doing double-duty, running the restaurant while maintaining the helm at Lake Forest. No easy task, I am sure. We're making plans to get out there soon and check it out.

I hope you told him about the real-names, real-format policy. For some reason, both this and our wine forums are taking an extremely heavy pounding from offshore spammers trying to sign up so they can entertain us with viagra ads and such, so we're having to be extremely strict about discarding anonymous registrations without a reply.
