Derby Glasses

Need a lot of 'em. Likely one case, possibly two.

Not antiques, the ones for this year. And since they hold bourbon, and bourbon is food, it's OK to post my request here, I hope. :)

Liquor Barn says $177.15 for a case of 72. All I can say is they went up a lot from last year. Beverage Warehouse doesn't even have them in yet. Whos' got 'em?

Thanks!

I called my wife and she checked the individual price on those glasses is 3.99 at Meijer. You may have to call to get a case price.

this is the one your referring to?

Yep, that's the one. I think they were $1.92 each by the case last year. I guess Liquor Barn on Hurstbourne did have a good price!

I would think if you were going to do something retail like with them you could prolly contact someone at churchill downs, and get a better price. go to the supplier sort of thing.

Love "Taste of Kentucky", but they are always going to be more expensive for something like this. My bet would have been on Liquor Barn for the best price, but I've never bought a case. Have you tried Dine?

I second Pat's . Great place wonderful selection of fairly price items. They carry plates, glasses, flatware, some cooking items. Very cool.

Also, try Prospect Party Center. http://www.prospectpartycenter.com . Jamie has great Derby items. For the last three years I have gotten a case of Derby Glasses from him. He has good prices.

Leah, if you have not already bought your glasses, I saw them advertised for $160-ish/case at Evergreen liquors on the corner of Shelbyville and Evergreen.

Thanks! I'll check that out. So far my group hasn't ordered enough to make up a case yet. Most years we have enough biz to order two cases. Derby is turning out to be a hard time in the lodging biz.
