Heard a good story last night (and this morning) on WFPL about how some of our favorite locals are adjusting to today's economy:

Good story, Chris, thanks for posting it.

Just one more reminder of what a brilliant businessman Dean Corbett is. It is far easy said than done to be "nimble & responsive" to changing customer needs- especially in an industry with wafer-thin margins and huge overhead. I'm in awe of Dean's ability to assess the situation and then turn all three of his businesses on a dime.

Our Depression Era Menu- three entrees priced at $8.95- and our half price wine nights Tue-Thur. is working for us. We are seeing a lot of repeat customers that were not coming before we did it.

I've been around this business for more years than I care to admit, and I am in awe watching Dean adjust and thrive. His ability to understand what the public wants and to change accordingly should be studied by every business student.
