I have got them from the deli counter from the value market. The same store that makes the awesome cubans(3rd st?)Iroquois Manner. The croquettes were baseball shaped though, not log. Dont be put off that they are from a grocery store. They make them there fresh. I have to been to another value market and they had neither the cuban sandwich or the croquettes, so it seems to be just at that location.
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

We just had some amazing potato croquettes at Maido earlier this week (they are included in their Super Happy Hour Menu). They are log shaped as you describe and they offer two different varieties. We shared an order of sushi croquettes and they were outstanding. Sushi croquettes are potato croquettes with a little wasabi and pickled ginger in the mix. They also have curry croquettes on their menu as well.
