Artisan Wine Dinner with Field Stone of Alexander Valley
On Wednesday, April 8th, L&N Wine Bar & Bistro will be welcoming Chris Foster of Field Stone Winery and offering a special menu designed around their wonderful Alexander Valley wines. Mr. Foster will be guiding guests through a tour of these wines and, just for this dinner, there will be a showing of their “Staten Family Reserve Vintage Port” made from Petite Sirah that is normally only available at the winery!
In the words of Robert Parker of the Wine Advocate: “An impressive lineup of opaque, burly, highly extracted, impressive reds continue to emerge from this low-profile, Sonoma winery.”.
Field Stone wines have only become available to Louisville wine enthusiasts over the last year and this is their 1st wine event in Louisville. As a small family estate, they continually produce wonderful expressions of the prestigious Alexander Valley for a modest price. This is a "do not miss" for the fans of the region and these varietals.
All of Field Stone’s wines come from organically farmed fruit and the event will be featuring Field Stone’s new releases that have just become available.
