Dave & Buster's?

by TrishaW » Fri Mar 27, 2009 4:46 pm

Wasn't/isn't there one in Louisville or close to Louisville?? I've seen commercials for it. We thought it might be a fun thing to do tonight as our "date". There isn't a location listed under the yellow pages (online) nor on the corporate website.

Any other ideas for fun for a late 30's couple on Friday night that is kinda casual?? That place came to mind because we could eat AND goof off in one place.

There's an Incredible Dave's in Louisville, and there USED to be a Jillian's. I have not been at all impressed with Incredible Dave's. It's WAY overpriced, and the food is just....off.

Yes, I know about those places.

The place I'm asking about is called Dave & Buster's. It's kind of like an Applebees with adult arcade games.

Not here - closest I have seen one is Cinci. I was not impressed....

Food wise, Dave and Buster's is a step down from Denny's.

D & B isnt known for its fine dining, its basically as discribed above an applebees with a adults arcade attached. its been duplicated several different times,

Jillians
Gameworks

are both other models of the same concept. There are both a Gameworks and D & B in Cincy, there used to be a jillians here in town but I think its gone the way of the dodo. But as far as seeing commercials here, its no different than seeing commericals for 7-11's or Jack in the Box.
The 'net is a waste of time, and that's exactly what's right about it.

I know what Dave and Buster's is. Jillians (closed) and Incredible Dave's are the closest thing we have to it, except for maybe Gattiland.
