Baby Shower Help Please

by Kim H » Wed Mar 25, 2009 3:21 pm

One of our best friends was to have a baby shower, but the friend who was planning it has had a mishap. We would like to help, but aren't sure where would be a good place to hold this event. It was scheduled for 4/4, in the afternoon, and as a 'couples' shower'. Thoughts, PLEASE???? I'd like to help my friends celebrate this incredible event!!!

Kim, how many people? That's a Saturday afternoon, during a pretty good lull between lunch and dinner.

Many, MANY baby showers have been held at Cafe Lou Lou in St. Matthews. If we can help, let me know.

Guess some details might help. I wasn't the initial organizer, so I don't have all the details. But I do know that there will be some vegetarians, but others who are not. Mostly younger to mid-people (is that a word?). Snack and finger food, I'm thikning, and someplace with a cool atmosphere. TIA!

Party-cut pizzas, some vegetarian. Hummus and meze plates with pita bread. Wild Bill's Cajun Cheese sticks. Something like that? If you're interested, try to find out how many people and I'll try to come up with some prices. I'm just a PM away!

And don't forget a baby shower cake made by the smartest, prettiest pastry chef in town *cough*. Just kidding. Made by me.

I am not at work, I will PM you my phone number and we can talk later this evening. S'okay?
