birthday cake for 3 year old

by KimInge » Tue Mar 24, 2009 10:20 pm

I want to get a decorated cake for my son's 3rd b-day party on Sunday. Maybe Thomas the Tank Engine, Lightening McQueen, or Spiderman. However, I don't want to pay out the you-know-what. Anyone know of an affordable option?

Check out Adrienne's in Jeffersonville: http://cakestoday.com/

They did a great job on a cake for my 3yo daughter's birthday. It was really good and affordably priced.

I do birthday cakes all the time. I do need to bring up the copyright issue, however. Bakers/Bakeries are not permitted to use copyrighted images or likenesses without permission. You can created a 'background" on the cake and then place toys on the cake that your little one can play with later.

Leah. That makes sense. How much would you charge for a chocolate cake to feed about 15 people? I'm thinking a "Thomas The Train" theme/background and I can just put some trains on it? Also, would you be able to do it for the party Sunday at noon? You can e-mail me a kiminge at hotmail dot com if you don't want to reply in the post. I see you're in Old Louisville too! Might make it easy!

That's adorable! Great job, Leah - I'm jealous. Pretty cake - I love the clouds!

Everyone loved the cake! Especially the birthday boy! Thanks Leah!

I couldn't figure out how to add pictures to my post? The [Img] button isn't working for me? So, visit my house blog to see the happy birthday boy!
