Welcome to the Louisville Restaurants Forum, a civil place for the intelligent discussion of the local restaurant scene and just about any other topic related to food and drink in and around Louisville.
I want to get a decorated cake for my son's 3rd b-day party on Sunday. Maybe Thomas the Tank Engine, Lightening McQueen, or Spiderman. However, I don't want to pay out the you-know-what. Anyone know of an affordable option?
I do birthday cakes all the time. I do need to bring up the copyright issue, however. Bakers/Bakeries are not permitted to use copyrighted images or likenesses without permission. You can created a 'background" on the cake and then place toys on the cake that your little one can play with later.
Leah. That makes sense. How much would you charge for a chocolate cake to feed about 15 people? I'm thinking a "Thomas The Train" theme/background and I can just put some trains on it? Also, would you be able to do it for the party Sunday at noon? You can e-mail me a kiminge at hotmail dot com if you don't want to reply in the post. I see you're in Old Louisville too! Might make it easy!
