2009 Wine Dinner Series
"California Wine Makers"
On Wednesday April 1st, 2009 at 6:30pm Limestone Restaurant will feature two of California's New Generation of wine makers, Brian Loring and Peter Cargasacchi. Chef Jim Gerhardt will prepare a seven-course dinner paired with six of Brian and Peter's critically acclaimed and highly sought-after wines. Both Brian and Peter will be on hand to talk about their wines.
A few of the courses will be Roast Squab Breast with a butternut squash puree and a Napa cabbage nest paired with Loring Clos Pepe Vineyard Pinot Noir, Santa Rita Hills.
Smoked Black Cod with arugula and spicy greens, Black Mission Figs, goat cheese and a Chardonnay vinaigrette paired with Point Conception "Caponera" Chardonnay, Santa Barbara.
Grilled Angus T-bone steak with a red wine glaze and roasted shallot baked fingerling potatoes paired with Loring Keefer Vineyard Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley.
Seating is limited so make your reservations early. The price of the dinner is $75.00. The reception begins at 6:30 and dinner at 7:00. Reservations can be made by calling 502-426-7477 or by using opentable.com.
