I wish him good luck getting the Bat's to be a bit more helpful than they were with the last group that tried coming in there.

Good thing he intended that for public knowledge.

I think if you apply for a license, it's public knowledge.

Absolutely correct, there has to be public notice of any application for now of license. It's also open for public comment before being issued.

Anoosh would like to pass along that the paper makes things a bit more challenging-- legally you have to advertise you are trying to get a license, but things are not definite for almost anyone when you put the ad in. Yes, it is public knowledge, but given just a bit of time accurate reporting would be better, since the deal is not done. FYI. he hopes to make things work at the ballpark, both catering & for the brewery, but again, it is a long way from being a definite. Please keep your fingers crossed, or if you want to invest that would help the process along tremendously, that Anoosh can make this work. We appreciate all of the support of the hotbytes community. As more definite plans become concrete, we will let you know so you can plan to eat & drink good beer at Slugger field again.

I am by no means an expert on the subject, but if my memory serves me they went through some problems with the owners and investors and decided to pull the plug without giving the staff any real notice. They've continued brewing in the interim, but the restaurant itself is history.
