Where ya gonna watch the tournament games?

by Jackie R. » Thu Mar 19, 2009 12:55 pm

I'm not a big lover of b-dubs or any other place that's over the top with # of huge screen televisions and noise. In fact, I'm a fairweather fan and only ever really watch UL in tournament games! That said, I have a few favorite places to watch a game. They would be the Beer Depot, Saints, and Za's. BUT... I discovered a new one this past Friday at Sol Azteca's. Had dinner at El Mundo and walked straight across the street for UL's big win. It was not at all crowded and they even had TV's in the bathroom. I'm sure it's a short matter of time before this secret is totally unlocked to the world, but I thought I'd share it with y'all first.

What your fave?

A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.

most of them will be watched at work. the rest will be watched at home with a nice hard cider and some take out.

Doogy, what field are you looking in? I was thinking you were in the IT field, but then I remember seeing something about you managing a McD's for several years.

I was in the restaurant industry for 24 years and am through with that. IT is what I want to do now. Thanks for the concern.

I know that Monkey Wrench has the television package and a pro-Louisville atmosphere as well as pretty good grub.

Shenanigans also.

I watch from home as well. Way too much nervous drinking, if you get my drift...
