The Contest "Registration Period" begins on or about Friday, February 20 at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT") and ends on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. PT.
Entrants must make their Selections between the conclusion of the announcement of the Tournament field on March 15, 2009 and March 19, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. PT (the "Selection Period").
Entrants must also predict the total combined score of the Tournament championship game. This information will only be used to determine the winner in the event of a point-score tie.
SCORING:
Entrants will earn points based on correct prediction of winning teams in the games of the Tournament. The number of points awarded for each correct pick of a winning game of the Tournament will increase with each round of the Tournament. A maximum of 192 points can be earned if all games are predicted correctly. The points will be awarded as follows:
Round Points
1 (First Round) 1 point for each correct selection (32 total points possible)
2 (Second Round) 2 points for each correct selection (32 total points possible)
3 (Regional Semifinals) 4 points for each correct selection (32 total points possible)
4 (Regional Finals) 8 points for each correct selection (32 total points possible)
5 (Final Four) 16 points for each correct selection (32 total points possible)
6 (Championship) 32 points for each correct selection (32 total points possible)
Winners will be notified via email at the email address listed in their Contest Registration on or about April 13, 2009.
