Sake Blue wins People's Choice Award

We were on hand for the "Sushi in the City" event last night. I was happy to finally meet Sohee ( and her Mom). Their display at the event was gorgeous and their entry was even better. They were serving their Temptation Roll- a roll with Shrimp Tempura, asparagus, cream cheese, crab, wasabi mayo, and eel sauce, topped with lots of spicy crab. The flavor and texture combination was outstanding- and better yet, it's on their regular menu ( I checked ). It was the hands-down favorite at our table of ten, and won the People's Choice Award ( I'm guesing by a landslide based on comments I heard) .

If this is any indication of their level of Sushi, all you Sushi lover's out there should get there fast. They were handing out 15% off coupons and I have a few extras. If anyone's interested, PM me and I'll pop one in the mail to you.

I just discovered this place a few weeks ago. I am a sushi junkie and will say it is easily one of the best in Louisville! The presentation along with the quality of the fish is fantastic. And interior is beautiful. I highly recommend them, I just wish it was closer to my house.... Hint hint, this place would fit equally well out in the East End, say Middletown perhaps....

Thanks Deb! It was quite an honor for us to win People's Choice Award and we all had a great time "debuting" to Louisville (I'll add pictures of the event on our restaurant Facebook page). It was also very nice to finally put a face to a name!!
