Local fans thought the Colonel bore a resemblance to Randy Bass, a bearded power hitter and first baseman from the U.S. who played for the team at the time.

Hmmm, I don't see the resemblance, but would it be wrong for me to suggest we all look alike to them?

My dad actually did look like Harlan Sanders! Once, he grew a goatee(sp) and mustache, dressed in a white suit with a string tie and went to the Derby!!! Silly man had to leave because he kept getting mobbed for autographs!!! When he was younger, he dated Harlan Sander's daughter....I coulda been rich.....LOLOL
