Cheers bartender laid off

I know it not Louisville,but still might be of interest.After thirty five years the "real"Cheers bartender has been laid off. Sad story inded.Not sure if this link will work or not,Im not clear on posting links.

I saw that story earlier....and from the photo, he looks more like Wilford Brimley rather than Ted Danson....

I wonder what criteria they used for laying him off? He obviously has to be the most senior bartender and he was certainly dedicated to the job. Seems like some of the others would've definitely going before he did. Of course with restaurant/bar politics how they are, you never know.
