Lunch in LaGrange

Could anyone offer lunch suggestions for LaGrange? Heading up to some of the shops tomorrow and was wondering about lunch spots. Thanks.

Bonnie, try Delizie Italian Deli - nothing but good reports about it so far. Just a couple tables, apparently, but since you're shopping anyway, you definitely want to hit this place.

Son of a Sailor is great spot for seafood. I am also very fond of Red Pepper Deli on Main St. for BBQ Big R's is very good too.

Irish Rover is among the cluster of shops there in the center of town.
I was thinking of heading out there myself this week too! It seems that the corner store on the same side is now an upscale housewares shop. and I need a little road trip so it will be one of these days!

Definitely Delizie Italiane for Italian gourmet sandwiches and treats, or Son of a Sailor for great seafood (the oyster po'boy is huge and fantastic!) Make sure to save room for dessert - the cheesecake is a big hit :D

Bonnie....

There are also other Oldham County lunch spots if you're traveling to or from LaGrange....the "Arbor Ridge Vine & Grille", along with "Steve O's Italian Kitchen" are both located off I-71 (exit 14) along the Hwy 393 by-pass in the small strip center on Westwind Way, about half-way between I-71 and Crestwood...

That is the 2nd Steve-O's in Oldham County! The Mother-Ship in Buckner still is cranking it out! Haven't been to the new one yet so somebody stop by and let us know what you think.

Bonnie -

The prior posts have listed almost all the options in Historic LaGrange. For a ladies lunch while shopping in LaGrange, I would agree that the Delizie Italiane Market and Deli is probably your best bet with the Red Pepper Deli second.

If you have finished your shopping and would like to stop on your your back towards Louisville, John mentioned my place, Arbor Ridge Vine & Grill (thanks John). It has become a local favorite providing a relaxing atmosphere and a nice menu selection.

No matter where you end up for lunch, enjoy your shopping.
