36th Wedding Anniversary

by JKVetter » Sun Mar 08, 2009 12:41 pm

Hey, everyone! Sorry I've been AWOL for a while, but I do love this forum!

Friday, March 13th, Kenny and I will celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. We've been married since we were 17! I feel that 36 years deserves something pretty special, so I'm taking him out for dinner. What I'd like to know is....where can we go for some really, really good food that just makes us go OMG, and is also a quiet, romantic spot? Main thing though is that we want really good food.

Thanks in advance.

I recommend Corbett's, An American Place!

Corbett's would definitely be my first choice with Equus running a close second.

You could have dinner at 610 Magnolia and then walk across the street to a lovely little B & B, sleep in and then have breakfast the next morning.

OK, that was a totally shameless plug.

While all of the above were great suggestions, I want to add Buck's . . . the most romantic setting around (black & white, flowers for the women, flowers everywhere in the restaurant, mis-matched English bone china . . . and while the food won't win any awards, it's definitely top tier.

Also, you can try Limestone Grille . . . if you tell them it's your anniversary, when you arrive you will find your table sprinkeld with rose petals!
