Tapas recommendations?

by Glenn G » Sat Mar 07, 2009 12:15 am

I have friends in town and we're looking for a great place to enjoy tapas. We have limited budgets ($20 each) so that probably rules out Mojito. Are there other options?

i wouldnt be so quick to dismiss Mojito as an option.
at $20 per, and a great happy hour, there's a lot of potential value to be had.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy

Try Maido's Essential Japanese during their Happy Hour 4 to 6 M-F. There are two Happy Hour menus to choose from and they not only great rolls but other small plate goodies to choose from. Cheap! Get there early. This not your ordinary sushi place.

Seviche Sundays- half priced seviches- you would pop trying to eat $20 worth.
I also second Maido- absolutely can't miss with anything (except maybe the octopus balls).

Thanks for the suggestions, all. I should have clarified. We're going to dinner tonight, so I don't think the happy hours will apply.

Is it really possible to have a couple drinks and enough to eat at Mojito for $20? Is there a menu available online?
