Hawaiian Ahi Tuna Sashimi with a Watermelon Salsa and Strawberry Vinaigrette Garnished with Diakon Sprouts

Citrus Crab and Hazelnut Salad served in a Flour Tortilla and Cilantro Garnish

St. Clement Merlot
A Napoleon of Grilled Marinated Portabella, Guacamole, and Goat Cheese Topped with Tomato Chutney

Beringer Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Broken Arrow Farms Elk Empanadas Filled with Gorgonzola Cheese and Pancetta Accompanied by a Cherry, Basil and Pine Nut Compote

Stag’s Leap Petit Syrah
Slow Braised Wild Boar served with a Sweet Potato Biscuit, Braised Swiss Chard and Sun-Dried Cranberry Gastric

Pear Tart and Caramel-Golden Raisin Ice Cream Drizzled with White Chocolate Sauce

I have just been informed that Jamie Stewart (Internationally Certified Sommelier and Educator) will be coming from Chicago to host this event and discuss each of the wines from the dinner. I think this will be a great treat for those of us who thirst for exceptional wine knowledge.
