De la Torre’s Little Tapa Restaurant

by Lisa W » Thu Feb 12, 2009 5:34 pm

A couple of weeks ago I went to bardstown road intending to go to (La Bo Dag___????) the little tapa restaurant next to de La Torre's and was disapointed to find that it was no longer there. I guess it was lost in the fire and not rebuilt. Does anyone know if they plan to reopen it? We love those rustic tapa like the grilled sardines

Lisa, I'm sorry I don't know about the fate of La Bodega after the fire ... but be aware that for some time now, De La Torre's and La Bodega have been serving essentially the same menu, so you should still be able to get all those addictive tapas at De La Torre's. :)

Also, Lisa, and I can't attest to the truth of this, but a friend informed me a few days ago that they had ordered the same thing from La Bodega and De La Torre's on different occasions, and it just seemed "better" in De La Torre's. It could be the atmosphere, but who knows.
