I feel sad that we haven't been out since the initial flurry, but man, the weather has been horrible! Even before the ice storm, I love places like Las Gorditas and Los Toreados, but it's tough to stand out in the cold at the window. Gimme a little springtime and we'll be THERE.

Standing out in the cold is part of the charm of places like this.

Pat Costas wrote:Thanks John for such a pleasant post. Business is still decent even with the bone numbing cold weather we have had. We are still setting up on Friday - Sunday at 3 PM until about 10 PM. Mid March we will of course extend our hours as we did last year. Many nights we were there until 1 Am. What the heck if people want to buy tacos or gorditas or what have you at that time of the day we are happy to accomodate them. Just out of curiosity folks, we are interested in your ideas on items to add to the menu for the spring of this year. Please don't hesitate to let us know of your ideas. Keep in mind though, the ideas must comply with the "Authentic Mexican" theme! In other words we refuse to become "Americanized" as there are plenty of Americanized Mecican eateries in Louisville. Also one last note, as to weather conditions, we have been known to set up in pretty frigid conditions, however, major winds or ice or snow makes for pretty dangerous conditions for pulling the trailer. If you may be wanting to come visit us and are in need of knowing whether or not we are going to set up please call us at 502-492-0112. We look forward to seeing and serving you.
