The hubby and I went over the weekend, and was it ever worth it! My hubby really enjoyed his beer, and let me tell you, the pretzels and bier cheese alone would have been worth the drive. We both had Jager Schnitzel (breaded pork with a wine/mushroom/bacon gravy)and our sides consisted of German potato salad (divine!) and sauteed cabbage (me) and spaetztle with bier cheese (him). I can't wait to go back! Next time, we will probably order the pretzels, and split an entree and dessert. The portion sizes are ginormous. We ate around 4, and I was too stuffed to eat much of anything for the rest of the night!

I love this place as well. It might seem a little "hokey" at first, but Its hard not to have a great time there. one of my favorite stops before or after a Reds game!!!

I want some of the chairs from that place! They'd be fantastic for an at home bar area!

About 30 of us are heading up there next week when UofL plays UC. We'll eat lunch there then head to the game.
I would like to go in nicer weather and add Jungle Jim to my itinerary.

When we play UC in football, we go there instead of tailgating.

We went to Cinci to go to Jungle Jim's, and to eat there. We weren't disappointed at either place! I've got a hankering from those pretzels....warm, crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside....slightly salty....so very good!

I absolutely love this place. Really good wursts and amazing appetizers like the pretzels and bier cheese and I love the potato pancakes. Then there is the beer which IMO is some of the best german style beers I've had. If you ever get a chance, go in October for the Oktoberfest beer, really good stuff.
