E-town Recommendation: Stone Hearth

by Debbie Baudoin » Thu Feb 05, 2009 11:37 am

I'm not sure how many of you venture into the wilds south of Gene Snyder, but if you happen to be cruising down I-65, you might want to check out Stone Hearth in Elizabethown. Fey and I are regulars there, and it's really a good alternative to the chains and fast food places in the area. I have a full review on my blog, if you're interested.

Eaten there for many years.
They can cook a wonderful steak.
The french onion soup is super yummy because it's made with prime rib drippings.

Been eating there off and on for the past 17 years. You should also try Tony York's on Main(formerly The Depot) in Glendale. A little pricey, but the food is pretty good.
