Tubby's?

by Bryan Shepherd » Fri Jan 30, 2009 6:53 pm

It looks as if Tubby's Pizza has re-opened. I passed by the Quadrangle in Jeffersonville and noticed a sign that advertised a lunch buffet. I am not sure what, if any, changes have taken place, but if anyone has some insight, please share.

I kept meaning to post about this and I've been sidetracked.

My girlfriend and I have eaten it three times since it re-opened. The third time we were able to get a hold of the whole wheat crust they are testing. I hope they decide to keep that because their whole wheat crust is good. It's soft and not coarse like I keep having issues with when I make it. They are using a new cheese which I suspect is a blend and is very flavorful. It's a welcome respite from the chains here in Jeff when I dont feel like driving to CPC or NABC. I recommend you try it out if you havent already.

We have had a very good response to our wheat crust, and we will contune to offer it, I just hope it picks up enough that we won't have to offer it on a daily limited basis, you are correct we are using a blended cheese now and I am glad you liked it. We are also testing out some new pizza and pasta and hopefully we will be offering some soon. Mike next time your in ask for me, I would like to meet you and maybe if your up for it you will try one of the pizzas were working on and let me know what you think.

I was wondering if that was you when you asked if we had wheat crust, yes the server had some family business that came up and I had to take over, I usually warn the customers first that I'm the worst server in southern indiana, I apologize for not getting you refills. If you come in this week I will have wheat crust set aside for you from Tuesday on, I'll make sure of it.

Thanks
