Anyone know what is going on with Raw Sushi Lounge?

by Dan L. » Thu Jan 29, 2009 1:37 pm

I work nearby and admittedly do not frequent Raw, but it seems like everytime I try to go there they are closed. I reluctantly purchased one of their gift certificates through Louisville Originals last week and have attempted to use it twice unsuccessfully. Their webiste is dead and their phone number has been disconnected. Does anyone know if they are still in business, on their way out, or what?

That's what I would like to know. Last week I tried to go for lunch on a day in which their door said they should be open, but they weren't. The next day I happened to notice that they were open. I popped in just to ask what days they were open for lunch and the hostess told me that they were open for lunch through the week at 11:30 with the exception of Monday. When I told her that I had tried to have lunch there the day before she said they had a "LG&E" problem.

I have myself to blame for this because I had sworn them off after a similar experience led me to Caviar. The lure of saving a little money made me compromise my previous decision. Man do I miss Maido's lunch buffet.
