Did you hear that the Girl Scouts event-Desserts First-was postponed to Feb. 19? Same time, same place, same chefs. Just thought I'd share.

It was announced in Business First yesterday or Tuesday, but they forgot to tell the judges??! OOOPS,,,

My mom works for the Girl Scouts, so I asked her.

"Yes, it is postponed to the 19th. Too many restaurants don’t have power. There is a little blurb in today paper. Not sure how they are contacting everyone"

totally not her department, but there ya go!

Well, I hope they call me soon, because I'm going to have to tell them that they'll need another judge. I'll be down in Florida visiting my Mom and sister then.

I know they've been trying to call and e-mail everyone including all guests...yikes! Not an easy task to postpone a huge event like that. I hope everyone gets notified!
